In the request of the Ministry of Defense, it was said that the Supreme Court should withdraw the order of elections in Punjab and that elections should be ordered simultaneously across the country.
The petition further said that in view of the ongoing security situation in the country, the Supreme Court should withdraw the decision of April 4.
In the request of the Ministry of Defense, it was also said that the court should order elections after the completion of the term of the Sindh and Balochistan Assembly.
