The police of Iqbal Market police station of Orangi Town area of Karachi arrested a fake army major along with his vehicle during checking. Fake military stamps and documents have also been recovered from his possession.
According to West Police spokesperson, the accused Taymur Ali son of Abdul Aziz was arrested during checking in Orangi Town.
Even during the police checking, the accused had introduced himself as an army major.
The accused had affixed a fake number plate of Pakistan Army on the car being used, while army uniform, fake stamps and documents were also recovered from the accused’s car.
According to the spokesman, a case has been registered against the arrested accused and the investigation has been started.
Information about the recovered goods is being obtained from the arrested accused.
