The head of the Astronomical Center of Saudi Arabia has said that it is unlikely that the Eid moon will be seen in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
In a statement issued from Riyadh, Mohammad Shaukat said that Eid will be on Saturday, April 22 according to astronomical calculations.
On the other hand, the Saudi Supreme Court has appealed to the citizens to see the Eid moon on Thursday.
The Saudi Supreme Court says that when the moon is seen, file the testimony in the nearest court.
