Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kaliba has arrived in Iraq to seek diplomatic support
This is the first time that a Ukrainian foreign minister has visited Iraq since Russia invaded Ukraine last year.
According to the foreign news agency, they want to get diplomatic support from the Middle East countries.
While holding a press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussain, Ukrainian Minister Dmytro Kaliba said that we certainly see Iraq as a country that has the ability to bridge the gulf.
On this occasion, the Iraqi Foreign Minister demanded a ceasefire in Ukraine. He said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had come to Iraq in February and had also made the same demand.
Fawad Hussain said that wars end with dialogue, so we believe in the process of dialogue.
