Karachi: For the convenience of the public, the federal government had extended the date till June 30, 2023 by providing one more opportunity to exchange/cash the prize bonds worth Rs.7,500, Rs.15,000, Rs.25,000 and Rs.40,000.
The government had set a date of June 30, 2022 for cashing these prize bonds, but the date has been extended to June 30, 2023, giving a last chance to those who have not exchanged these prize bonds within the stipulated period.
These prize bonds can be redeemed at SBP Banking Services Corporation offices and commercial bank branches across the country till June 30, 2023.
In this regard, the State Bank has issued necessary instructions to the commercial banks regarding accepting applications for encashment or exchange of prize bonds till the extended date.
Holders of the bonds have been instructed to take advantage of this last chance and convert their holdings before June 30, 2023.
After the expiry of the extended deadline, the said Prize Bonds will not be cashable or exchangeable and will not be redeemable.
