Sources say that the All Parties Conference is likely to be held under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Contact has been made to invite Imran Khan and Shahbaz Sharif to APC.
One point on the agenda of the APC will be to set the date for the general elections.
Sources say that Jamaat-e-Islami wants the government and the opposition to agree on a date for the election.
Sources said that efforts will be made to get the government to agree to the elections before October, while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will agree to the elections after May.
Sources also said that Saad Rafique and Ayaz Sadiq from Muslim League (N) have got green signal to increase their relations with Jamaat-e-Islami.
There is also a possibility of further discussions with the nominated delegations of Jamaat-e-Islami, PTI, Muslim League-N.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has had preliminary talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan.
