Lahore: To reduce unemployment and encourage investors, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has issued an order to issue long-pending NOCs of petrol pumps across Punjab by May 1.
According to Express News, Chief Minister Punjab directed the concerned authorities to clear all NOCs in 15 days after which new petrol pumps will create thousands of job opportunities for youth.
1264 applications for petrol pumps in all districts of Punjab have been pending for a long time. After this new order, every petrol pump will get employment on an average of 30 to 35 people. More than a thousand people will be employed.
In his order, the Chief Minister has directed all the concerned departments to issue NOCs as soon as possible and end unnecessary delay in issuance and has asked that the NOCs of petrol pumps should be issued immediately by fulfilling the legal requirements. Transparency should be ensured in the issuance, which will increase the confidence of the citizens in the government.
