Karachi: NAB recovered Rs 44 crore from the personal assistant of the former minister in the Motorway scandal.
According to the sources, progress has been made in the NAB investigation of the Motorway M6 scam, in which the National Accountability Bureau (Karachi) has recovered Rs 44 crore cash from the accused Ashiq Cleary.
NAB recovered Rs 30 crore cash from the accused Ashiq Cleary yesterday while the recovery of Rs 14 crore cash was made 5 days ago. According to NAB sources, the accused Ashiq Cleary is the personal assistant of the former minister, on whose identification 5 luxury vehicles have also been recovered in the highway investigation, the value of which is said to be in crores of rupees.
