According to the details, the zoo’s sick elephant Nurjahan has been suffering from the worst physical problems for the past 3 months, her muscles have shrunk and her back is completely bent.

Veterinarians from an international animal organization have treated the elephant and directed it to be kept in intensive care.

On Thursday morning, the elephant landed in the pond it had made in the forest but was not taken out and remained there for several hours. In this regard, there were various speculations on social media, after which Administrator Karachi Saifur Rahman visited the zoo.

Talking to the media, he said that Noor Jahan’s health is already improving, mud mounds and ponds have been built for elephants to walk on the instructions of international vet doctors.

Yesterday, Noorjahan played in the pond for several hours when it was too late and she did not come out, there was concern, Fourpaz and other medical experts were contacted and they said that the elephant should be exercised in the water as it will improve its movement.

The administrator said that it was a good sign that the elephant went to the pond on its own, after several hours it could not get out due to its weakness and 2 tons of weight, so it was pulled out by a crane as per the instructions of Fourpaz. Medicines, food and drops were given.
