Somoto is taken, one never sees what is happening in the courts, PML-N leader
Karachi: Former Minister Itam Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that even a person walking on the road today can tell what decision will be made in a case.
Speaking to the media on the occasion of appearance in NAB Court, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the fourth year of appearances in NAB has started. It is the responsibility of the Chief Justice to ensure justice from the courts. It is taken for granted that one never sees what is happening in the courts.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that even a person walking on the road today can tell what decision will be made in which case. The easy solution was to settle the matter by forming a full court.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the courts can interpret the law, it is the work of the Parliament to make the law. The important thing is that everyone works within their limits. When the courts are seen to be arbitrarily, it becomes a matter of concern, when arbitrary benches are formed, people criticize.
Earlier, a reference hearing regarding illegal recruitment in PSO was held in the accountability court. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other accused appeared in the court. The court adjourned the hearing till May 15 without taking any action.
