Electricity for consumers has been increased by 46 paise per unit

Islamabad: As part of the quarterly adjustment, the price of electricity for consumers has been increased by 46 paise per unit.

The cost of electricity has been increased in the second quarter of the current financial year. NEPRA has sent its decision to the federal government.

According to Nepra, due to the increase in the cost of electricity per unit, there will be an additional burden of more than 15 billion 45 crore rupees on the consumers, the electricity consumers will have to make additional payments in three months.

Additional charges will be made from electricity consumers in April, May and June bills.
