Sources in the Ministry of Finance have said that matters have been finalized with the UAE, the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance will inform the IMF during the annual meetings in Washington.
According to the sources, as soon as the guarantee is received from the UAE authorities, the IMF will also get a written guarantee.
The Prime Minister’s Office and the Finance Minister had requested friendly countries to meet the conditions of the IMF.
It should be noted that the International Monetary Fund had asked Pakistan to bring letters from the countries that have promised financing by June.
The IMF has demanded that the financing countries provide written assurances by June 30.
The IMF said that this writing should be provided by the Executive Directors appointed to the IMF in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.
