In Karachi, the main procession of Hazrat Ali’s Martyrdom Day will take place from Nishtar Park.
The procession will end at Imam Bargah Hussainiya Airayan in Kharadar following the fixed route.
The shops coming in the passage of the procession have been sealed while MA Jinnah Road is closed, the road coming from Corridor 3 to Saddar is closed from the parking plaza.
The roads leading to the procession have been blocked with containers.
Police and Rangers personnel have been deployed for the security of the main procession.
Mobile phone service is suspended at various places including the passage of the procession.
According to the Interior Department, there is a ban on drone camera coverage of processions in Karachi.
Green Line bus service in Karachi will run from Abdullah Chowk Sarjani Town to Patel Para Station today due to Hazrat Ali’s Martyrdom Day procession.
