Pakistan’s world-renowned reciter Sadaqat Ali said that he had the privilege of reciting the Holy Quran at the age of 23 in the presence of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other important figures in the inauguration ceremony of Pakistan’s first unanimous constitution 50 years ago.
Qari Sadaqat Ali, speaking to Daily Jang after arriving in Japan’s capital Tokyo during a religious and preaching tour of seven countries in the month of Ramadan, said that he considers it a blessing that he received this national honor.
He said that his life’s mission is to restore the positive image of Pakistan as well as enlighten the world with the teachings of Islam.
Qari Sadaqat Ali said that he will visit seven countries including Ivory Coast, Niger, Italy, United Kingdom, Japan and America during Ramadan, where he will participate in important religious ceremonies.
Qari Sadaqat Ali, who has been honored with Pakistan’s three highest civil awards, Hilal Imtiaz, Tagha Imtiaz and Pride of Performance, says that he has dedicated his life to Pakistan and the religion of Islam.
He said that he wants that the positive image of Pakistan and Islam can be restored at the global level and the misconceptions that the international community has about Pakistan and Islam can also be removed.
Qari Sadaqat Ali praised his host Khurram Ayub in Japan and said that the excellent arrangements made by Khurram Ayub in his previous visits to Japan were commendable.
It is hoped that this time too, with the same arrangements as before, they will be able to meet more Japanese and Pakistani personalities and achieve the goal of promoting the religion of Islam.
