Islamabad: The local court handed over PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur, who was arrested in a case registered in Golra police station, to the police on two-day physical remand. After the terrorism provisions were deleted, the case was transferred from the Anti-Terrorism Court to the Islamabad Sessions Court.

According to the details, Islamabad Police presented Ali Amin Gandapur in the court of Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan after completing his one-day physical remand and told that the provisions of terrorism have been deleted, after which the court transferred the case to the Islamabad Sessions Court. done. Later, Ali Amin Gandapur was produced before the Islamabad Sessions Court.

Judicial Magistrate Ehtesham Alam Khan heard the case, the prosecutor requested Ali Amin Gandapur to be handed over to the police on further physical remand, which was opposed by Babarawan’s advocate. After the arguments of the parties, the court approved a two-day remand.

In a two-page written judgment, the court said that Ali Amin Gandapur was earlier granted a one-day physical remand which was insufficient in the view of the investigating officer.

The decision further said that due to lack of time, the investigating officer could not get Ali Amin Gandapur’s DVD from PEMRA, it is necessary to get voice matching from Ali Amin Gandapur’s laboratory, so his 2-day physical remand is granted.

The court also directed the investigating officer to appear at the next hearing with comprehensive investigation.
On the other hand, investigating officer of CTD police station, Shamsul Akbar, had also reached the court to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur, but the court granted a two-day physical remand.

On this occasion, Asad Qaiser, Pervezakhtak, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid, former Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi and others were also present.
