Kentucky: 5 people have been killed and 6 injured as a result of shooting in an American bank.
According to CNN, the incident happened in the city of Louisville, Kentucky, where there was a mass shooting in a bank, as a result of which five people inside the building were killed and six people were injured.
According to the local police, the injured have been shifted to the hospital while the attacker was killed in a police encounter. Sources said that during the incident, there was an exchange of fire between the shooter and the police.
Louisville Metro Police responded immediately to a report of an assault and multiple fatalities in the 300 block of East Main Street downtown.
Additionally, the FBI Louisville has called the incident a shooting and other authorities have urged residents to stay away from the scene.
