NAB Lahore has tightened the circle around the former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on the charge of causing a loss of 300 billion to the public treasury in the illegal approval of the master plan of Lahore.
NAB has written a letter to DGLDA to assist in the ongoing Master Plan 2050 investigation against Parvez Elahi, requesting DGLDA to assist in the investigation of irregularities in the approval of the Master Plan.

According to NAB, the master plan was made for Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana and work on it was started in 2020.
