IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon reached Sukkur on the occasion of operation against dacoits.
According to police officials, IG Sindh will visit Kachhmore, Shikapur and Ghotki.
Police officials said that a meeting has also been called in Kashmore and Ghotki.
On the other hand, IG Punjab Usman Anwar and DPO Rahim Yar Khan, who arrived at the spot to supervise the operation against raw material dacoits, were fired upon by the dacoits, as a result of which 1 head constable was injured.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar said that the police posts have been completely restored in the Kacha area while the intelligence-based operation is going on.
He says that a contingent of 2,000 soldiers has been sent from Punjab for the operation, out of which a total of 11,000 soldiers are participating in the operation.
He also says that Sindh Police is also starting operations in their areas.
