Beirut: Leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas have met in Lebanon to discuss preparations for a strong resistance against Israel.
According to international media, Hezbollah issued a statement saying that in view of the recent Israeli attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hamas and Hezbollah met in the Lebanese capital to discuss strong resistance against Israel.
On the other hand, Hezbollah said in its statement that during the meeting between Hamas chief Haniyeh and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, the parties discussed the preparation of anti-Israel resistance and cooperation between the movements in the context of recent developments.
The two also discussed the intensity of resistance in the West Bank and Gaza and the events at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
It should be noted that on Wednesday the Israeli police stormed the prayer hall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and severely tortured the worshipers. Earlier, a Palestinian youth was martyred by Israeli forces for trying to enter the mosque.
