Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has claimed that 3,000 PTI workers were arrested.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi, Asad Umar said that social media is the voice of the people which cannot be suppressed by coercion. Many social media activists of PTI were picked up from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad.
Asad Umar said that the elected government was abolished by setting up a market of consciences under a conspiracy, PDM does not have the mandate of the people, PDM brought down the government to end corruption cases worth billions of rupees.
The PTI leader said that thousands of people came out on the streets of Karachi on the night of April 10, 2022, PDM has brought the worst economic crisis in the history of Pakistan.
Asad Umar said that many people lost their lives in the flour queues, the people have risen against them after knowing the current government.
He said that after continuous success of PTI in the by-elections, the government oppressed the workers, false cases were made against PTI leaders and workers.
