Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandyal has started consultation to end the division of judges in the Supreme Court, he is holding separate meetings with fellow judges.
Sources said that the Chief Justice constituted the benches for next week’s cases which are designed to end the impression of differences and reach a consensus.
The Chief Justice included the judges who gave dissenting notes in the election case in his bench.
Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Athar Minullah will be part of the Chief Justice’s bench from tomorrow.
A bench of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar was constituted.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Ayesha Malik are also included in the same bench.
Justice Athar Minullah joins the bench next week with Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Mazahir Naqvi.
A bench consisting of Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi was also constituted.
