Taiwan has described China’s military exercises as a threat to regional stability and security.
According to a foreign news agency, Taiwan accused and said that 8 Chinese warships and 42 fighter jets crossed the border of the Taiwan Strait this morning, condemning such unreasonable actions.
Defense Ministry said that national security will be defended with solid combat readiness.
On the other hand, China has started a three-day military exercise in the Taiwan Strait from today. In the military exercise, live fire drills will also be conducted on the coast of Fujian province on Monday.
The spokesman of the Chinese army says that military exercises are necessary to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He said that China’s military exercises in the Taiwan Strait will continue until Monday.
