A driver crushed tourists with a car in the coastal city of Tel Aviv, Israel.
An Italian tourist was killed and 5 other tourists were injured in the attack.
The police opened fire and killed the assailant. The attacker was an Arab Israeli.
After the attack, Israel called for additional police and army personnel.
According to rescue sources, the dead were foreign tourists.
On the other hand, Italian authorities have confirmed that one of the dead was its citizen.
