Aleem Dar's 24 brilliant career comes to an end

Mirpur: Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar’s 24-year career came to a glorious end.

Aleem Dar, who officiated for the last time in the Test match between Bangladesh and Ireland, was given a warm farewell by the players, officials and fellow umpires of both the teams.

Aleem Dar was a member of the Elite Panel of Umpires since 2002. During this time, he held the record of umpiring in 439 international matches.

During his career, he umpired four times in the World Cup and also supervised the 2007 and 2011 World Cup finals.
