Desperate job seekers easily fall into anyone’s trap and lose lakhs of rupees as their first priority is to get a job.

According to foreign media, a group has been revealed in the capital of India, New Delhi, which used to find people who were worried about jobs.

In New Delhi, the police arrested a three-member gang who cheated people of lakhs of rupees by duping them of jobs abroad.

The accused have been identified as Sohail Anjum, Afrooz Alam and Parvez Alam who promised to provide employment to hundreds of people in Turkey and Ethiopia and embezzled the money.

The three-member gang had set up a company that advertised fake overseas jobs on its website and social media accounts.

The accused used to ask the contacts to transfer money after viewing advertisements and then send them fake offer letters through WhatsApp which had no relation to reality.

The police acted on the complaint of a man named Dilawar Singh who had applied for a job abroad through the same company. About 50 to 60 lakh rupees were recovered from the bank accounts of the accused.
