Renowned Bollywood director Karan Johar has revealed that he wanted to completely destroy actress Anushka Sharma’s career.
Indian film editor and screenwriter Apoorva has shared a video of an interview with Karan Johar on micro-blogging website Twitter.
Karan Johar said in this interview that I wanted to destroy Anushka Sharma’s career completely.
He said that when Aditya Chopra showed me the picture of Anushka for the film ‘Rab Ne Banadi Jodi’, I said you are crazy, don’t cast her in the film.
But when I saw the movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, I called Anushka Sharma and apologized to her, she added.
Karan Johar explained the reason for apologizing to Anushka Sharma, saying that I apologized because I felt so ashamed that I wanted to destroy such a great talent.
During this interview, Anushka Sharma was also present along with Karan Johar, who is seen laughing after hearing this confession of the Indian director in the video.
