Don't use Ramadan as an excuse for politics

It seems that the oppressors have reserved the month of Ramadan to shine politics. In this holy month, the political activities of the rulers intensify and the courts also become more active in this month, due to which the people’s attention is focused on politics instead of worship.

Last year also, the anti-trust movement was held in the month of Ramadan, in which major political activities continued. The political leaders kept meeting each other and the situation changed moment by moment. The people were listening to the Houses of values and their eyes were fixed on the Supreme Court, what is the situation of the Houses, whose numbers are how many and what decisions are coming from the Supreme Court? Political manipulation continued. Members of National and Provincial Assemblies kept changing loyalties. Thus, the opposition parties finally became heavy and the government changed in Ramadan.

Now, once again, a debate and a war is going on in the month of Ramadan on the elections of the Provincial Assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Politicians who are out of the assemblies are eager to get back into the assemblies. Due to which they are making noise about elections. On the contrary, the politicians who are sitting in the assemblies do not want to go out of the assemblies, due to which they are running away from the elections. Thus, the political situation is very tense. The Supreme Court has ordered elections to be held on May 14, but still elections do not appear to be taking place. The government has many other methods and tricks by which it can avoid them. As the court had given the date of December 31 to hold local body elections in Islamabad, but the government did not do it and there is nothing wrong with the government. Similarly, at present it seems that the government will find a way to escape from the elections.

However, this whole situation is disturbing for the people and people are keeping their eyes on the politics to see what is going to happen there. Activists of political parties have taken over the social media fronts and political shelling continues from there. If you open social media, political activists are swarming and are posting political posts every moment, offering their analysis and spewing venom against each other. Neither the respect of Ramadan nor the idea of worship.

The month of Ramadan is a great blessing for the Ummah Muhammadiyah. In this month, Allah’s blessings and blessings rain down like torrential rain. There are so many blessings and blessings in the month of Ramadan that it feels as if Allah Almighty has decided to forgive this Ummah and has made Ramadan an excuse to forgive the sinners of this Ummah. On the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “When the month of Ramadan comes, all the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.” In this hadith, it is clear from the opening of the gates of heaven that when all the gates are opened, the blessings of Allah, the Exalted, descend directly on the earth without any obstacles in their way. In this month, the reward of good deeds is increased.

In order to collect the fruits and blessings of this month, it is necessary to perform good worship and turn to Allah. Instead of interpreting and defending false and insidious politicians, focus on learning religion. Knowing the value of the blessed hours of Ramadan, one should not waste their time in these discussions. We cannot change the situation nor are we heard in any forum. Therefore, in Ramadan, keep yourself engaged in worship as much as possible, do a lot of dhikr and recitation. Use the time you spend watching TV in worship. Yes, pray for the development and stability of the country. Pray for this country that Allah gives it a good-hearted ruler who cares only for the country’s interests instead of personal interests.
