Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to approach the court against the Governor not giving the date of elections after the dissolution of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The petition will be filed in the High Court on behalf of PTI Central Secretary General Asad Umar and Provincial President Pervez Khattak on Wednesday through the mediation of Barrister Gohar.
According to sources, PTI will request the court in its petition to direct the Election Commission to announce the date of general elections in the entire country instead of holding by-elections on the 33 vacant seats of the National Assembly.
According to PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Spokesperson Shaukat Yousafzai, the main cause of the economic crisis in the country is political instability, so immediate elections are the only solution to the crisis. . He said that the 13-party PDM group wants to escape from the election.
