Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel recovered drugs from the possession of a passenger arriving to Bahrain while conducting an operation at Faisalabad Airport.
According to the ASF spokesperson, the passenger Mohammad Ranjha had arrived at Faisalabad Airport to go to Bahrain when the ASF personnel identified drugs in his bag during checking.
The passenger had skillfully hidden the drugs in the bag.
ASF personnel foiled the smuggling attempt by recovering 1 kg 850 grams of ice heroin while searching the cargo.
The accused has been handed over to the ANF authorities for further legal action along with the recovered drugs after initial investigation.
