An Afghan passenger who was going to perform Umrah on a fake Pakistani passport was arrested

Karachi: The Immigration Department of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded an Afghan passenger who was performing Umrah on a fake Pakistani passport while conducting an operation at the Jinnah International Airport.

During FIA Immigration’s operation at Jinnah Terminal, the shift in-charge Irfan Ahmad Memon offloaded the Afghan passenger on the instructions of Head Constable Ali Shehryar.

According to Deputy Director of FI Immigration Karachi Airport Ali Murad, the passenger was going to Saudi Arabia from Gulf Airlines flight number EK603, Sultan Ghani had an Umrah visa on his Afghan passport. The passport was confiscated.

According to Ali Murad, the work visa and protector stamp of Saudi Arabia were also affixed on the fake Pakistani passport, and the departure stamp was also affixed on the passenger’s passport. FIA has transferred the accused to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for legal action, further investigation is ongoing in this regard.
