The audit report of 25 billion rupees worth of goods purchased for flood victims in Sindh was submitted to the court.
According to the information received from Matiari, the Auditor General of Pakistan has submitted the audit report of 25 billion rupees to the court. This report was submitted on the order of the Sindh High Court.
The audit report has revealed the alleged corruption. Ration bags and other goods were bought at high prices in the name of the victims.
According to the audit report, the first ration bag was bought for 9 thousand, later the same was bought for 3900 and 3600.
According to the report, mosquito nets, tents and water pump machines were also bought at high prices. Not sending as many machines to the districts to draw water as billed.
According to the audit report, instead of giving orders to companies offering low rates, purchases were made at high prices.
