The anti-terrorism court of Hyderabad sentenced the blackmailing accused to life imprisonment and fine after being found guilty in the case of suicide of a female student in the hostel of Sindh University.
According to the police, the accused was on bail, after the verdict, he was arrested and sent to jail.
According to the police, the student was studying in Sindhi Department of Sindh University and was residing in Marvi Hostel.
On January 1, 2017, the body of the student was found in the room number 36 of the hostel.
Police arrested the accused a week after the suicide.
The accused was blackmailing the student, fed up with which she committed suicide.
