After the record-breaking success of Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ at the box office, there are signs of the actor’s new film ‘Jawan’ being a great success.
Hence, there is a fierce competition between all the major OTT companies to get the streaming rights of this film.
Indian media reports citing close sources have shared some details about this emerging battle between digital media platforms.
According to sources, the movie ‘Jawan’ is being seen as a blockbuster even before its release due to its mega budget and the eagerness of the fans for its worldwide release.
The report further states that the most important thing is that this film is not only in Hindi but in many different languages and therefore all the people of the country will be interested to watch this film, then the streaming rights of such a film will be acquired. Doing so is a huge win for any digital platform.
According to reports in this regard, Netflix is very close to acquiring the streaming rights of Shahrukh’s film.
It may be noted that Netflix and Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment have a long-standing relationship and the popular digital platform already has around 20 titles from the actor’s production house.
The action-packed film ‘Joan’ will be released in all theaters on June 2 this year.
