Chairman PTI Imran Khan appeared before the Special Anti-Terrorism Court.
Interim bail application is being heard in 3 cases of Imran Khan in anti-terrorism court of Lahore.
In this regard, the security arrangements were tightened, anti-rights force personnel were deployed in the court premises.
Additional police force is also stationed outside the ATC.
Earlier in the morning, the Anti-Terrorism Court had rejected Imran Khan’s plea for exemption from the presence of Imran Khan in the case of arson, police violence and Zul Shah murder case.
On behalf of Imran Khan, an application for exemption from attendance in 3 cases was filed today.
Rejecting the request, the court remarked that Imran Khan should appear by 11 o’clock otherwise the decision will be taken according to law.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abhar Gul said that whoever comes to the court will get relief, Imran Khan’s bail bonds were not collected.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that Imran Khan’s bail bonds are submitted.
The court adjourned the hearing till 11 am.
Earlier, Imran Khan’s request for exemption from attendance in 3 cases was filed.
The position adopted in the application was that Imran Khan is in Lahore and cannot appear due to security threats.
In the application, it was requested that the court approve the application for one day’s attendance exemption.
