It has been decided to start the renovation and restoration work of Badshahi Masjid in Lahore.
A meeting was held on the issues of Walled City of Lahore Authority under the chairmanship of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi.
In which it was decided that the project will be completed in collaboration with the Walled City Authority and various institutions.
In the meeting, Shalamar Bagh, Tomb of Jahangir and Noor Jahan were also proposed to be managed by the Walled City Authority.
It was informed in the meeting that restoration work on 15 out of 24 historical places of Shahi Qila is nearing completion.
