Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Shazia Murri has directed to provide maximum relief to Benazir Kafalat beneficiaries.
A high-level meeting of BISP was held under the chairmanship of Shazia Murri, in the meeting, Secretary BISP gave a briefing on various initiatives.
In the briefing, it was mentioned that the ongoing quarterly installment of Benazir Kafal has been increased from Rs 7000 to Rs 8500, new beneficiaries will get the opportunity to register in BISP under dynamic registry.
Regional DGs informed the Chairperson BISP about POS agents blocked under complaints of illegal deductions from quarterly stipends.
On this occasion, Shazia Murri said that the partner banks of BISP should facilitate the payment process through their ATMs.
He said that 90 lakh beneficiaries should be informed that the government of Pakistan has increased the Benazir sponsorship allowance from 7000 to 8500 rupees, the increased quarterly installment of 8500 rupees is being paid.
He says that the beneficiaries should receive their entire increased amount of Rs 8500, in case of any complaint, register their complaint in the nearest tehsil office of BISP.
