Rawalpindi: A 35-year-old woman was killed by cutting her aorta with a sharp instrument on the road on the Range Road area of Naseerabad police station.
According to police and rescue 1122, the woman reached the main entrance of the pharmacy on Range Road in a severely injured condition and fell down without sustaining her injuries. On receiving the information, the rescue 1122 personnel reached the spot, but he had already died before medical assistance, on which the police were called.
After collecting the evidence through the experts of the forensic agency, the police shifted the body of the woman to the hospital for post-mortem. According to the police spokesperson, during the initial investigation, the woman was identified as Madiha, who was present in the area with her friend and her husband, where they had a heated argument and both husband and wife attacked the victim.
After the attack, the injured woman walked to the pharmacy on her own, but succumbed to her injuries and died.
CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani, taking notice of the incident, sought a report from SP Pothohar and issued instructions to investigate and arrest the accused after collecting all the evidence. Police officials say that by forming teams to arrest the accused. Raids are being carried out. The accused will soon be brought to justice.
