Karachi: Fed up with unemployment in Orangi Town, a man committed suicide by setting a noose, while a body was recovered from the house of a fasting person in Iqbal Market area.
According to the police, the police reached the spot on the information of a dead body hanging from a house in Orangi Town Rahim Shah Colony within the limits of Mominabad Police Station and after inspecting the spot, the body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Naveed, who lived in a one-room house and a neighbor saw the body and informed the police.
Locals say that deceased Naveed was unemployed and unmarried for the last 4 years. It is suspected that he committed suicide due to unemployment, however, the police shifted the body to the mortuary after legal proceedings and started searching for his family and relatives.
On the other hand, a body of a person was found from the house in the limits of Iqbal Market Police Station, who was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital with the help of an ambulance. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Kawish and son Qamar. According to the family members, he had slept after suhoor and when they tried to wake him up before sunset, he did not wake up. Later, he was shifted to a nearby hospital, where the doctors confirmed his death.
