The arrested factory owner has made important revelations in the police investigation after the incident of death due to a stampede in a factory in Karachi site area.
According to investigative sources, the beneficiaries were going around the affected factory for many days for Zakat money, women used to sit outside the factory hoping to get money from morning till evening.
Investigative sources say that the women were being sent back empty-handed by the factory management, the factory staff and supervisors were asking the beneficiaries to come the next day.
Investigating sources have claimed that the factory owner had to distribute two and a half lakh rupees as zakat, the factory owner used to distribute zakat money in the same way in the past.
According to investigative sources, the factory owner Abdul Khaliq was supposed to leave on April 1 to pay Umrah.
It should be noted that 12 people, including women and children, were killed in a stampede during the distribution of Zakat in a private factory in the Karachi site area.
