Peshawar: A case of boat sinking incident in Kohat Tandah Dam was registered in Mohammad Riaz Shaheed police station.
In the case filed by SHOMRS Qasmat Khan, the responsible officers of the irrigation department and the sailor of the boat were named.
In the case registered in the police station Mohammad Riaz Shaheed, the provisions of culpable homicide have been added.

Yesterday, 10 students drowned in Tanda Dam when the madrasa students’ boat capsized. Madrasa students had come to Tanda Dam for a picnic.
The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had taken notice of the boat sinking incident in Kohat Tanda Dam. The caretaker provincial minister Khushdal Khan ordered an inquiry into the incident and directed the Kohat administration to submit a report on the incident.
