An unknown motorcyclist shot and killed former SP Farhat Abbas outside his house in broad daylight in Millat Park area of Lahore. The accused fled after the incident.
Former SP Farhat Abbas left the house and started getting into his car, while an unknown motorcycle rider wearing a helmet opened fire on him from the front and escaped from there on the spot. Former SP Farhat Abbas died on the spot.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana sought a report from SP Iqbal Town.
IG Punjab Dr Usman went to the deceased’s residence and met the family and inquired about the incident.
He ordered to form a special team to arrest the accused and directed that the accused should be arrested soon and punished.
