Karachi: The body of Dr. Birbal, who was shot dead near Garden Lyari Expressway, has been handed over to the heirs.
According to Express News, on March 30, unknown suspects opened fire on a car near Garden Lyari Expressway, killing Dr. Birbal and injuring his assistant Quratul Ain.
According to the Edhi Foundation, the deceased’s body was handed over to the heirs, who were taken to their native village Sanjhuru by Edhi Ambulance.
According to SP City Arif Aziz, a case of the incident has been registered, the brother of the victim has suspected the murder of the injured woman, after the recovery of the injured woman, her detailed statement will be taken.
According to sources, the ex-fiancé of the injured woman has been investigated, the injured woman had recently separated from her fiance, the injured assistant was working with Dr. Birbal for the last 10 years.
An officer said on the condition of anonymity that the doctor had also expressed his marriage to his assistant. Initially, it seems that the doctor was killed due to personal grudge, police are investigating from all angles.
