Karachi: FBR and FIA have started action against MD Sui Southern Gas Company Imran Munyar.
The Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notice to MD Sui Southern Gas Company Imran Munyar regarding non-disclosure of assets abroad and non-payment of taxes, in which the property in the US is disclosed in the tax return and wealth statement. An explanation has been sought for not doing so.
According to the notice, MDSSGC Imran Munyar owns 12 properties worth Rs 62 crore in different cities of America. Apart from this, FIA Karachi has also issued notices to MD Imran Muniyar and senior officers of SSGC for allegedly forging and altering the ACR and various documents of various officers of the company, in which inquiry All records are requested for
Various officers of SSGC had complained to FIA against MD Imran Muniyar and senior officers. According to the notice, the MD has maliciously altered the service records of these officers to harm their performance. The SSGC administration has requested the FIA and FBR to provide the records on April 3, seeking respite.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Sui Southern Gas Company says that no one can comment about the investigation. Explaining on behalf of the MD, the spokesperson said that FBR’s notice has been received, my legal team will respond to it.
