Abandoned Waqf Properties Rawalpindi has sealed seven land units including 4 units of Lal Haveli, the residence of former Home Minister and Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed.

In the video, police and FIA officials can be seen entering Lal Haveli.

It should be noted that the court has dismissed Sheikh Rasheed’s injunction request to stop the proceedings of the abandoned waqf property.
Sheikh Rasheed had taken the position in the petition that the case of Lal Haveli and adjoining land is under hearing, therefore the notice and action of eviction from Lal Haveli is illegal.
