Medina: A new fence made of gold and copper was inaugurated around the Holy Prophet’s grave in Masjid Nabawi.
According to Arab media, the new fence around the Athar shrine is 87 meters long and one meter high. It consists of separate units and parts of solid copper, brass and gold.
Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the president of the organization that oversees the affairs of the two holy shrines, inaugurated a new fence made of copper and gold around the holy shrine in the Prophet’s Mosque (peace be upon him).
In the beginning, there was a wooden fence around the building of the Prophet’s shrine, which was removed and a golden copper fence was installed.
