Karachi Tragedy;  The 10-year-old child kept crying to pick up his mother's dead body

Karachi: The 10-year-old son of a woman who lost her life in a stampede at the time of Zakat distribution in Site area of ​​Karachi kept shouting for her mother’s body to go home.

Among those who received relief money in the site area was Naseem Begum, who lost her life in the stampede, who went to receive relief money for new clothes for her children on Eid but lost her life in the stampede.

Naseem Begum’s body was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where her husband Shahid Ali and her 10-year-old son were seen crying profusely along with her body.

The deceased’s son kept scolding his mother saying, “Mom, get up and go home, why aren’t you getting up, Mom, we don’t need clothes, get up and go home.” On this occasion, Shahid Ali, the husband of the deceased while talking to Express, said that he drives a rickshaw and my wife said that the company will receive aid money today and will buy new Eid clothes for the children.

Shahid said that he had forbidden his wife, no problem, Allah will make it better, I am working, there will be some arrangements for new clothes for the children, but the wife kept insisting me, give me 100 rupees as rent and other women of the neighborhood. Going there I will be back with them soon.

Shahid further said that he was forced by his wife’s stubbornness, after which my wife took a son and daughter along with her and when there was a stampede, my wife was electrocuted, which killed her, while my daughter was slightly injured. But my son was safe.

After the incident, the bodies of the deceased were transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, there were scenes of apocalypse, screams were heard from all sides and every eye on the spot was tearful. Seeing the dead body, he fainted, his mother was crying.

A large number of people were gathered in the mortuary of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, who were crying profusely at the separation of their loved ones, to whom other people were also seen consoling.
