Lahore: Following the orders of the High Court, business hours were changed in Lahore during Ramadan. The Deputy Commissioner issued the notification.
According to the details, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider has issued a notification to change the business hours during the month of Ramadan in the city by implementing the orders of the High Court.
According to the notification, all restaurants and food points will be allowed to remain open from Iftar till 6 am, bakeries can be opened till 1 am during Ramadan, while bakeries can be kept open till 1 am on all three days of Eid.
According to the notification, hospitals, medical stores, laboratories, milk shops and ovens will be exempted from these working hours while petrol pumps, CNG stations and puncture shops will also be exempted.
According to DC Lahore, after the month of fasting, restrictions will remain as per previous working hours. He further said that due to smog, the effective rules are for the convenience of citizens.
DC Lahore Rafia Haider appealed to the public and said that they should take full care of the rules implemented by the district administration.
