A hotel employee in the Indian state of Goa abused and harassed a female tourist from the Netherlands by leaving her alone.
According to Indian media, an employee named Abhishek Verma also attacked a 29-year-old foreign female tourist with a knife, who has been arrested.
According to the Indian police, the hotel employee barged into the woman’s tent whereupon she started screaming for help, after which a local man reached there and the employee ran away.
Regarding this incident, the police say that the employee ran back with a knife and attacked the man and the female tourist who came to help and escaped.
The female tourist has given a statement to the police that at 2 am the employee entered her tent with a tape in her hand and tried to grab me.
The woman from the Netherlands told the police that when I screamed, the employee grabbed my hand and threatened to kill me.
According to Indian media, the police have recovered the knife used in the attack.
According to the police, both the persons have been shifted to the hospital while a case has also been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
