The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced an extension in the date of receipt of applications under Sponsorship Hajj Scheme.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs says that it has been decided to extend the receipt of applications in the sponsorship Hajj scheme by one week, while the receipt of applications in the regular Hajj scheme has been extended till April 2.
He says that the decision to extend the receipt of applications has been taken keeping in mind the difficulties faced by overseas Pakistanis in remittances.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs says that overseas Pakistanis will be able to send funds in the Sponsorship Hajj scheme till April 9, these funds should be sent to the dollar account of the Ministry of Religious Affairs through TT or wire transfer.
He says that the applicant should contact the nearest Aziz Bank for verification and processing of funds, Hajj applicants should refer to designated banks for further information and processing.
Designated banks will be open for receipt of Hajj applications on Saturdays and Sundays.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs says that the applicants of sponsorship Hajj scheme will be declared successful without drawing lots.
