Senator Ali Zafar of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf declared the judicial reform bill against the constitution.
In his statement, he said that the powers of the Supreme Court cannot be changed under the common law without constitutional amendment.
He further said that if the law is passed, it will be declared null and void in the next fifteen or twenty days.
It should be noted that after the National Assembly, the Senate also approved the judicial reform bill, 60 votes were in favor of the bill and 19 were against it.
After the approval of the bill, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani sent the bill to the President Dr. Arif Alvi, after the signature of the President, the bill will become a regular Act of Parliament.
